I'm currently studying in UiTM Campus Samarahan. I'm taking Diploma in Information Management. I'm still thriving to be a writer, so wish me luck. For those who had followed me, just leave a link so I can follow you back. Thank you :)

last swimming test

Today, we went to Stampark in BDC instead of our usual place. We had to pay RM5.50 as entrance fees. The pool was so much deeper than the one I got used to. *sighs*

We went back to UiTM about 8 P.M., making us unable to attend the replacement CTU151 class that night at 7.30 P.M. More information about this place can be done by clicking on this link: Stampark Place.

That night was the RTM Audition, me and my friends went there about 9.30 P.M. and it haven't ended when we left. The thing was, we left about 11 P.M. We needed to leave because we have a quiz the next day. We haven't revised anything *yikes*

speaking test

That night was my speaking test. *yikes*

My speaking test members were Puteri, Sarah and Atikah. I'm the only guy *sighs* We were given the topic about celebrities and the negative influences we've got by idolizing them. I don't remember all of the points, but all I can remember the four points were engaging in immoral activities, improper use of language, education no longer a priority and appearances. I'm candidate C, so education no longer a priority was my topic.

We had Task A and Task B. In Task A, we were given 2 minutes to prepare and 2 minutes per members to further elaborate on our points. In Task B, we were to discuss which points brought the greatest impact from idolizing. In the end, all of us agreed in candidate D which was appearances.

Popular again

Today, there were no class after 10, so we decided to trek to Popular again, but this time at Boulevard. Two of my friends brought their BB1M vouchers to spend.

If only I can live in a bookstore.

Anyhow, that night, our class held another drama practice at B401.

Burn It On! Fiesta (second day)

The moments that we've been waiting for. The Battle of the Band. There were 7 teams for Battle of the Band  and 4 teams for Acouctica. With MPP, RADA, MASPENA and INFORMS altogether, we formed the committee for this events. As they were assigned with a duty, I was assigned to be a runner, along with two members from RADA and MASPENA.

Burn It On! Fiesta (first day)

Burn It On! Fiesta was held today. Actually it started last night, but today was the first day. Just like last semester, HTKP (Hari Terbuka Kelab dan Persatuan) was held again. This time, it was held at the Carpark C, right next to Block G. There many booths opened, including one from us, INFORMS. I got there during morning, about 11 A.M. Aside from that, an auto-show was held right next to the booths.

There were many things on sold. Shirts, books, pins, notepad and foods like rojak, banana split, chocolote covered marshmallows, and many more~

I bought these two: the pin and the notepad...
...and this. Another INFORMS shirt~
Tonight, there will be a rehearsal for the Battle of the Band versus Acoustica contestants. Again, Muay Thai's here and there. They just never stop coming.

muay thai

Another Muay Thai event. I think it's already three Muay Thai events already this semester. They really active this semester eh. Just like Zumba; they're getting more noticeable this semester.

Fight! Fight! Fight! >.<

After each fight, the fashion show took over. The fashion show was named Traditional Malay Couture. In every intervals, the fashion show contestants went to the Youth Floor and paraded themselves around the ring.

One of the fashion show contestant
Tomorrow will be the start of Burn It On! Fiesta. HTKP, Autoshow, Battle of the Band versus Acoustica and many more events. It will be another tiring days since the 19-20 Jan events. Hope I can survive through it. *yikes*

writing competition

I was the first person who took the participation form of the INFORMS Essay Writing Competition 2013. Partly because my friend already informed me about the event. Hehe. Well, this evening was the prize giving ceremony. They texted me to come to the Youth Floor to be ready. I'm like: I won? I freakin' won!? I opened my gmail account and finally knew that I got third in Non-Fiction category. I didn't won, but it's something. Hehe

AMAN PALESTIN got RM4500 from all the donations
My third prize! >.<

last day of IM Youth Festival

Today is the fourth and the last day of IM Youth Festival that was themed "Promoting Dynamic Society to Inspire Future Leader". There were booths about Rakan Muda, PPM, SESA, Friends of Library Association.

There are a lot of books! >.<
I want to take all of the ebooks from them. They got so many of them.

another drama practice

After the regular meeting at 1P.M., I went to my lecturer's office to submit my assignment since he wanted it to be handed in personally as we needed to sign our submission list. Once I was done, I met my classmates who also had submitted their assignments. We were going to DM Mulu/Serapi to rehearse our pantomime.

While we were discussing for the pantomime, we saw a door opened. The door led to a room filled with traditional and cultural clothes. We were like: Can we borrow these clothes? The woman in there said yes, but with a letter. So some of us were thinking to borrow these clothes for the upcoming Prom Night. Few minutes later, a friend of mine sent me my gift. *yeay*

The Traditional and Cultural Clothes Collections
The souvenirs and the gift
After I kept those in my room, I went to each Block 1, 2, 3 and 6 to stick the posters of Prom Night. Then. I went back to DM Mulu/Serapi, as I thought that my friends were still in there. As I expected, they were. In fact, they were exchanging ghost stories. I decided to stay because I will obviously be bored all alone in my room. The storytelling continued, escalated, deviated into many other stories as we laughed our ass off. Even after the College Officers went home, we were still out there, laughing. I loves my classmates >.<

third day of IM Youth Festival

Today, Borneo Insight was the theme for IM Youth Carnival.

There were many exhibitions on Borneo cultural clothes, foods and many more. The highlight of the event was the Man vs Food challenge. Many people were swarming the Youth Floor to see the contestants eat.

second day of IM Youth Festival

Today, the theme for IM Youth Carnival was Young Carer Project. There were exhibitions of drugs and the recycle challenge was also held nearby.

I bought another two badges! *yeay*

Another unrelated thing with the title; today was also the continuation of the swimming test. The criteria for today test were Diving, Submerging, Freestyle and Breaststroke. Again, I made a fool out of myself when I tried to dive. Unfortunately, we couldn't continue with Breaststroke as it was raining. In other words, the test again will be continued next week.

first day of IM Youth Festival

Today, it had been a busy day at the Youth Floor of Samarahan Campus. Tourism Carnival here, AgroBank there and more importantly, IM Youth Carnival were everywhere.

The IM Youth Carnival was organized by the Part 3 students of Information Management for the subject of IMD202 Promotion of Information Products and Services. If they don’t do this event well enough, they might fail the subject. *yikes*

Well, since we only got one class today, me and my friends went to the Youth Floor exactly on time of the commencement of the IM Youth Carnival. Afterwards, staying true to the theme of “Active Teen @ U” that day, a zumba session was held there.

practice drama IMD157

Yesterday night, after sticking the posters. I don't know where else I should go so I decided to stay there with them. Group D was diligently making their props for their pantomime while I was online.

the vouchers part 2

As soon as I was done watching the booth, me and my friends went to Popular in Tun Jugah to start our shopping spree. We intended to skip just one class that day, but as we went browsing for books, it’s already 4P.M. and we haven’t even finish yet. We ended up skipping two classes. I really need to find a proper excuse to write in the letter of absence. *sighs* Sorry Sir and Madam! We couldn’t resist the temptations Popular offered. We ate at the Food Court just nearby. I ate Butter Chicken Rice. Nomnomnom~

The books that I bought:
The Book of the Dead by Douglas Preston & Lincoln Child,

The Digital Photography Handbook by Doug Harman

I tried to find a book about HTML since I couldn’t find anything about library there. Unfrtunately, I couldn’t find any. I ended up using all of the RM250 vouchers. They gave me another RM50 voucher and the membership card. Yeay! I have RM50 to spend on the most important thing that my father advised me: books that are related with my course – Information Management.

The RM50 voucher and the membership card

the vouchers

At last! I finally got my hand on the RM250 vouchers! After most an hour of waiting, I got my vouchers.

Valentine's Day

Today is Valentine's Day. We Muslims aren't allowed to celebrate it since it's actually held for Valentinus, a Christian saint. But then again, it's not like I have any reasons to celebrate it to begin with. I'm forever-single-alone *sighs*

Just got my haircut today. It should've been yesterday, but the salon didn't open until today. There was a new barber (a really cute guy!), I'm like: whoa~ Anyhow, I'm not going to post my new hairdo here, or anywhere else. You'll have to see me for real to look at it. hehehe

An update of UiTM new campus, Campus Samarahan II. They posted a list of the programmes that will be there:

I'm watching the last episode of Digimon Adventure. Episode 50 - A Million Points of Light. I actually prefer to watch them speaking in Japanese while reading the English subtitles. However, it's been dubbed in English. Oh well, as long as I can watch it. *sighs* I miss my childhood

Together We Make Bintulu Better

I went to my school to claim my SPM certificate. After more than a year, I finally got my SPM certificate

The site of the old airport is soon to be a place of shopping! Bintulu Paragon is the name of the mall that will be erected there. Taking the concept of street mall, they said that Paragon will be just like The Curve or Sunway Giza. There will be other malls and even housing projects as well.

just something I found

I've been searching through the Internet for more sources for my CTU151 assignment. The requirements specifically stated it needed to be at least 15 pages, not including the references. While I was looking for more information, I stumbled into this site. This site provides many downloadable ebooks for reading pleasure. I like it. I hope you like it too >.<

What I did during CNY holiday

I downloaded tonnes of stuffs. As always, music albums is a must downloadable item.

Yesterday (11 Feb), me and my friends went for an outing. We went to the mall, where I bought these books at Popular at a very cheap price. hehe

Merriam-Webster's Pocket Dictionary

and

British Empire Adventure Stories: Three Stirring Tales of Heroism from the Age of Empire

After that, we went to McD to eat~

I slept at my friends' house that night. We even continued our outing till the daybreak. I ended sleeping for just a few hours. *sighs*

I can't wait for the RM250 Book Voucher! hehehe

Max D

I'm home. In Bintulu. There's nothing I can do here. Aside from online, reading and listening to music.  Most of my assignments are already done. If only Bintulu have this kind of place.

This is the place. I loved this place. Max D in Plaza Merdeka is definitely a place of entertainment and fun.

Me and 3 of my friends went here and watched Volcano Coaster & The House From Hell (Ju On)~ haha, The ride was exhilarating! Unfortunately, there are only 6 six available - I wanted to bring as many people there if I can *sighs*

Busana Islam

Okay, there are two great things today: IMD155 class and tutorial is cancelled as well as the swimming class. Yeay!

Well, I attended Busana Islam in the Dewan Jubli. I went there alone. Hmm... The theme was Asli dan Moden & Kontemporari, roughly means Original, Modern & Contemporary.

Anyhow, it was divided into four categories:
Category A: 3-12 years old
Category B: 13-17 years old
Category C: UiTM students
Category D: UiTM staff

The category is the 3-12 years old. The crowd were entertained by the childrens' attitudes on the stage. They were so adorably shy >.<

The next category is 13-17 years old. It went quick though. Probably because there aren't many participants in the category.

Category C is for UiTM Students. I don't know anyone. Or perhaps I didn't exactly pay attention as I was writing this post. Hahaha.

The last category was for the UiTM Staff. Each one of the staff came and gone.

The winners were announced shortly after the fashion show ended. As everyone had received their prizes, we went back after getting a coupon to claim the stamp.

Another Tuesday

Today is Tuesday. In other words, this is the day where I only have 1 class in the morning and free time afterwards. After CTU151 class, I went to DM Mulu/Serapi for our group IMD157 discussion. The script already got printed, and I was assigned with a new character. I'm no longer working on the props - I'm now a bank guard. The bank guard who fell after getting hit by shuriken and died after being shot by the robbers. How pathetic my character is - which is good - since the only action that I need to do is fell to the floor. Haha

After that, I went to Dewan Jubli for the final stage of Kuiz Kemahiran Islam. There weren't so many people  inside. Anyhow, there are representatives from Sabah and Mukah there, which surprised me.

Tomorrow will be Wednesday, which means two (2) IMD155 presentations (index slip + part II national archives and director general) are waiting to be present. >.<

Program My Beautiful Malaysia

Today, me and my friends went to the My Beautiful Malaysia at Kuching Integrated Recreational Centre. After getting on the school bus – yes, you’re reading it right, a school bus – we went directly to the place. It took two buses for us UiTM students.

Again, the IM students decided to take on the elevator at the same tower. Because of that, we were left behind by the other group. *like I care*

My former classmate contacted me and told me she was there. We even managed to get some photos together! I missed her~ >.<

We ate a lot! There was also some kind of exhibitions of weapons – I touched of my first M16! We even got into the tanks! Hehehe

After getting our food coupon, we were relocated to Taman Budaya, just a walking distance from the place. There, we were given rakes to sweep off the dead leaves which were everywhere. Of course, as usual, there will be photo-taking sessions at – everywhere! Haha

As soon as we were “finished” with the sweeping and photo-taking, we went back straight to the school bus and gone back to UiTM. It was a great day.
