no title

Hmm... I have no idea how to start this entry. The last entry was on 28th June. Whoaa. It's been more than a month since my last update. I'm getting rusty and lazier *sighs*

Anyhow, everything I did in the past month was:

  • The application and submission of PTPTN
  • Learning (and loving) HTML and Macromedia
  • Listening continuously to Fall Out Boys's and Imagine Dragons's albums
  • Going through individual assignments and tests
  • The second year of Ramadhan at UiTM
  • Creative process of yet another novel ideas
  • Playing games like an addict
Okay. That's it. I'll keep you guys posted later on. Au revoir >.<

semester 2 result

I woke up early this morning because someone called me. I don't know who it was because I didn't have the caller ID. Just when I tried to get back to sleep, a friend of mine texted me; how was your result? Like it or not, I woke up, showered, dressed and went straight to the laptop.

My Result. Hehe. Finally >.<

my finals

Four papers had passed. This is a very brief summary of those papers I've faced.

CTU151 was held in G214 on the morning of 31 March. It was okay, I think. I don't really remember what happened. Okay, moving on to BEL260 on 3 April at G104. It was great; the essay question was about movies so I did it rather easily. I don't know what'll happen to my marks about that though. On 6 April at G111 was IMD157. I thought the essay question in Part C will kill me, but it was Part B questions that suddenly asking things I didn't know. *sighs* IMD156 was at the same place (G111) on 9 April. It was okay. That's all I can say.

So far, my carry marks are very helpful. My carry marks are:
  • CTU151: 30.5/50. I don't really remember though.
  • BEL260: Don't remember
  • IMD157: Haven't come out yet.
  • IMD156: 35/40
  • IMD155: 47.4/60
  • IMD152: 53.5/60
The last paper will be IMD155 at G201. The thing is, I'm not worrying about the test; I'm more worried about this proposal for next semester. I needed to send it in before 15 April and I have to show it at the lecturers before submitting it. And if I wanted to, I may take the application form as the next semesters' PMs.

I'm going to miss a certain someone during this holiday >.<

the study week

It's Saturday and I was supposed to study for CTU151 in the morning. But I didn't. I woke up at 11 A.M. And when I went to the library, it's already filled with people. I ended up going back to DM to eat with my friends. Right now, I managed to finish the first and second chapter of CTU151. yeay! I looked at the third chapter and OMG, the third chapter is extensively long!

It's the second day (Sunday), I went to the library but I couldn't be long. I have signs and symptoms of fever. *sighs* I met my friend there and she invited me to go to McD. I'm like: It's been awhile since went out so, what the hell? Oh, before I forget, I bought another dictionary. hehe. How am I suppose to carry all these books back to Bintulu? *sighs* I managed to cover chapter 4 and 5 of CTU. yeay! That night was unforgettable >.<

The third day (Monday) was better - I think. Still feverish but I'd make it through. Me and my friends went to the college office to send in our activities card. I really hope that I can stay in college. I didn't manage to cover chapter 3 of CTU, so I need to push myself tomorrow!

It's Tuesday and the last day of study "week", and I procrastinate again. I ended up going to the funfair with my friends that night *sighs*

a busy week

Busy is an understatement. It's been a hectic, tumultuous week. Starting from Monday, the schedule of group IM110 2A was filled with tests, assignment submissions and presentations. Monday schedule was already packed. Classes from 8 A.M. till 5 P.M. But the class at 4 P.M. was cancelled so we got back early.

On Tuesday, I skipped CTU151 class that morning to prepare myself for the test tonight. It was the first time I intentionally and willingly skip a class. What's wrong with me? Anyhow, Tuesday evening was our group's pantomime presentation and that night would be our final test of IMD152. Luckily I managed to answer every questions in the final test. *yeay*

Before the drama started
Wednesday was our registry presentations and report submissions. The presentations started off badly by other groups, but thankfully by the time my group present, we managed to get pass with just simple questions. I really hope SEDC will accept our registry proposal. Hahaha

Thursday was the Internet resources evaluation presentations and report submissions. The presentations was held in the lecturer's office. I want to go there at 8 A.M. since the class was cancelled. But, then I wanted to be a little late so I woke up at 9 A.M., got myself and my members ready, print the report and went straight to his office. Once I got there, there were already people waiting outside his office. *sighs*

Waiting and waiting
Fortunately, my group managed to present after waiting for like two hours (or more!) Unfortunately, my friends didn't managed to present thus 10 marks were deducted from it. I felt really bad for them, but I can't do anything. Afterwards, I inevitably met my seniors and they told me that I will be the leader to an event for next semester. I'm like: what!!?? What the hell am I suppose to do?

Thursday night was the last test: IMD156. After presenting and knowing what I will do for next semester, I went back to my room and watched Glee. I was planning on watching few of the episodes but hey, nothing went as planned. That night, I went to Auditorium 1, in hopes for the test to be easy - and it did! Well, kinda. I answered all of the questions but only god knows whether its right or wrong.

This blog entry was written on Friday. I'm at the library alone. According to my laptop, it's 9.27 P.M. Well, this is all from me - for now. Au revoir

last swimming test

Today, we went to Stampark in BDC instead of our usual place. We had to pay RM5.50 as entrance fees. The pool was so much deeper than the one I got used to. *sighs*

We went back to UiTM about 8 P.M., making us unable to attend the replacement CTU151 class that night at 7.30 P.M. More information about this place can be done by clicking on this link: Stampark Place.

That night was the RTM Audition, me and my friends went there about 9.30 P.M. and it haven't ended when we left. The thing was, we left about 11 P.M. We needed to leave because we have a quiz the next day. We haven't revised anything *yikes*

speaking test

That night was my speaking test. *yikes*

My speaking test members were Puteri, Sarah and Atikah. I'm the only guy *sighs* We were given the topic about celebrities and the negative influences we've got by idolizing them. I don't remember all of the points, but all I can remember the four points were engaging in immoral activities, improper use of language, education no longer a priority and appearances. I'm candidate C, so education no longer a priority was my topic.

We had Task A and Task B. In Task A, we were given 2 minutes to prepare and 2 minutes per members to further elaborate on our points. In Task B, we were to discuss which points brought the greatest impact from idolizing. In the end, all of us agreed in candidate D which was appearances.

test swimming

Yesterday was the day where the students who took HSL116 having their test. I'm included *sighs*

We were divided into group of 5. We were grouped alphabetically. Since my name started with an S, I was in group 7. Second to last >.<

The test had many categories to be scored like safe entry and exit, bubbling, freestyle kicking, breaststroke kicking and many more.

Luckily, we couldn't finish the entire test. Our lecturer told us that next week, we will do the rest of the test without groups so that we can finish quickly. That's mean I can blend in easily! hehe

Well, by the time we were about to go back to UiTM, I went and looked at the details:

finals result

Final. Examinations. Result. Is. Out.

I woke up rather early. After taking shower, I wandered around the house thinking: should I check it now? Urrgghh... I hate anticipation.

Well, I checked the Student Portal anyway.

I was surprisingly pleased with what I saw. It's enough for me. Although I had to admit that I was hoping to get more. It was close to get the Dean List. Oh well. No ANC for me *sigh*

While me and other people rejoicing the fact to be able to stay for another semester, they're some people who had to repeat or even got dismissed.

I guess that's it. Au revoir...

Oh, before I forget. I got 3.37~

And I still miss that person *sigh*

CTU101 + MGT162

Hello~

It’s been a while since I posted my last entry.

Hmm. Where should I start?

Okay. CTU101 and MGT162 papers are done. The examinations was done at different dates but at the same place (G111) and both started during evening. Here’s my opinion after facing the two papers:

CTU101 (7 OCT). I regretted not reading the notes beforehand. The fact that I didn’t know my carry marks make it even worst. I managed to complete my notes (19 pages), but I didn’t have enough time to revise it. Just as I was relaxing after finishing the compact notes, my friend called me. I actually went out to J&J Cafeteria with them to have a lunch. After picking up a friend at her home, we went directly to Block G. We came into the classroom after the invigilator called for us. Well, the rest was history. Let just say that it didn’t went well for me. Hopefully I pass. *sigh*

MGT162 (10 OCT). I already checked my carry marks and collected my assignment and test paper on Monday. After knowing my carry mark, a small sense of relief came over me. At least I made it more than half. I revised on my compact notes (30 pages), and redid some of the points in tables so I can see and understand it clearly. My friends and I went to the library to do last minute revision when our sir suddenly offered to help us with the revision. After some useful advice and tips from sir, we decided to have lunch at the same place; J&J Cafeteria.

MGT162 paper was quite okay than CTU101. Although Part A (True/False) and Part B (Multiple Choices) caught me off guard, I managed to do Part C (Short Answer) and Part D (Essay).

As much as I grow fond of the subjects; I don’t want to repeat any paper for the next semester.

That is all from me. For now. It's time to study IMD103~

first paper

I officially got a fever. Yesterday night was the moment it started. First it was just a sore throat - my throat was dry and burning up. Then my body temperature raised, headache occurred just before I was going to sleep then the inevitable thing came. Diarrhea.

I woke up at six because of my diarrhea. I hate it.

Just before 8 o'clock, I met up with my friend, who needed to print his examination slip. Then we both waited at Block G.

Just few minutes before the paper starts, my diarrhea kicked in. There I was, awkwardly trying to hold it in. But I couldn't, I lost. I quickly asked permission to go to the restroom. I practically felt like I was disemboweling myself. The agony of diarrhea.

By the time I got back into G201, everyone was already starting their paper. Most of them looked at me as if I was a latecomer. Come on people, I was already uncomfortable with my own body, so please stop looking at me like that.

The reading section was just simple tasks of what-is-the-meaning-of-this and information transfer questions. Nothing much really.

I never understood why people spend so much time on a question. If you don't have the answer, just skip it. I'm not bragging or anything like that, but I finished my paper exactly in an hour. I still could see people flipping the pages to answer the reading section. I spent the remaining hour by checking everything and counting the words in my writing section.

I just realized something. Something awful.

I was short of words. That't for being too quick. Dammit. I added some words on the conclusion - since I obviously couldn't anything on the other paragraphs. I waited again for the time to end. I did want to leave early, but I didn't notice anyone leaving.

Time's up. The magic words was spoken. Everyone scurried outside to take their bags. Most of them went to either hostel or home afterwards. I went to my IMD103 lecturer's office to see my carry marks. Microsoft Words 15/20, Microsoft Excel 14/20. Overall, I got 29/40. Oh well.

aku dan final exam

OMG. pejam celik pejam celik, dah nak habis satu semester dah.*sigh* nak tak nak, mesti belajar. untuk apa? untuk Final Examinations!

This first semester had been a complete turnaround for me. My life has never been this  I don't know how to explain it — vehemently full of life? Haha. In just a mere 4 months(?) so many memories were "recorded" here. My life as an Information Management part 1 student is slowly closing its curtain. After another two weeks it will be the finals. As soon as that ends, holidays take over, and on 2nd December, I'll be here again as a part 2 student. I never realized how the time flies so fast.

Whatever.

Getting back to the topic, this will be the start of the busiest two weeks so far. I really hope to go through my finals with confidence. Hopefully, I can get dean list for my first semester here. I need to benchmark my ability now so I can do better for the upcoming semesters.

Final exams are approaching with numerous assignments to submit, presentation to present, tests to excel, and a lot of tension + stress to comprehend. Oh well, I might as well procrastinate and fail everything or start to study and making my own notes to read later. Hmmm *thinking seriously* Obviously I'll do the latter. Duhh.

My finals schedule. The place for examinations haven't been revealed yet. But this is it: BEL120 (Tue: 2 Oct), CTU101 (Sun: 7 Oct), MGT162 (Wed: 10 Oct), IMD103 (Tue: 16 Oct) and IMD102 (Fri: 19 Oct). Also not forgetting IMD101 final test on Thu: 20 Sep.

For the rest of you, good luck and do your best!
Wish me luck guys!
