semester 2 result

I woke up early this morning because someone called me. I don't know who it was because I didn't have the caller ID. Just when I tried to get back to sleep, a friend of mine texted me; how was your result? Like it or not, I woke up, showered, dressed and went straight to the laptop.

My Result. Hehe. Finally >.<

a busy week

Busy is an understatement. It's been a hectic, tumultuous week. Starting from Monday, the schedule of group IM110 2A was filled with tests, assignment submissions and presentations. Monday schedule was already packed. Classes from 8 A.M. till 5 P.M. But the class at 4 P.M. was cancelled so we got back early.

On Tuesday, I skipped CTU151 class that morning to prepare myself for the test tonight. It was the first time I intentionally and willingly skip a class. What's wrong with me? Anyhow, Tuesday evening was our group's pantomime presentation and that night would be our final test of IMD152. Luckily I managed to answer every questions in the final test. *yeay*

Before the drama started
Wednesday was our registry presentations and report submissions. The presentations started off badly by other groups, but thankfully by the time my group present, we managed to get pass with just simple questions. I really hope SEDC will accept our registry proposal. Hahaha

Thursday was the Internet resources evaluation presentations and report submissions. The presentations was held in the lecturer's office. I want to go there at 8 A.M. since the class was cancelled. But, then I wanted to be a little late so I woke up at 9 A.M., got myself and my members ready, print the report and went straight to his office. Once I got there, there were already people waiting outside his office. *sighs*

Waiting and waiting
Fortunately, my group managed to present after waiting for like two hours (or more!) Unfortunately, my friends didn't managed to present thus 10 marks were deducted from it. I felt really bad for them, but I can't do anything. Afterwards, I inevitably met my seniors and they told me that I will be the leader to an event for next semester. I'm like: what!!?? What the hell am I suppose to do?

Thursday night was the last test: IMD156. After presenting and knowing what I will do for next semester, I went back to my room and watched Glee. I was planning on watching few of the episodes but hey, nothing went as planned. That night, I went to Auditorium 1, in hopes for the test to be easy - and it did! Well, kinda. I answered all of the questions but only god knows whether its right or wrong.

This blog entry was written on Friday. I'm at the library alone. According to my laptop, it's 9.27 P.M. Well, this is all from me - for now. Au revoir

Prom Night

The poster
I just wore a simple purple batik. I was partnered with three of my friends since they didn't have a date. When I got in there, the place that I always went was the food and drinks. While everyone was busy dancing, I stuffed my stomach till no end. I even took some of it back to my room. I ended up giving the take out to my friends because I was already full. *sighs*

Explorace Se-UiTM

Today, our faculty organized the Explorace Se-UiTM.

As the participants entered DK1, the committee were dispersed to their checkpoints.

Me, Syud and Haziqah were in charge at Checkpoint Block E. The clue that will direct the participants was "Lepas D" which obviously led them to our block "E". Our checkpoint's task was to make a tower from the water bottles provided. They can use water to stabilize the bottles. The height was three bottles.

The Explorace ended about 11 A.M., an hour earlier than the tentative. The winners were announced, foods were given. We all went home.

I'm not going to Sinar Serapi tomorrow.

Burn It On! Fiesta (second day)

The moments that we've been waiting for. The Battle of the Band. There were 7 teams for Battle of the Band  and 4 teams for Acouctica. With MPP, RADA, MASPENA and INFORMS altogether, we formed the committee for this events. As they were assigned with a duty, I was assigned to be a runner, along with two members from RADA and MASPENA.

Burn It On! Fiesta (first day)

Burn It On! Fiesta was held today. Actually it started last night, but today was the first day. Just like last semester, HTKP (Hari Terbuka Kelab dan Persatuan) was held again. This time, it was held at the Carpark C, right next to Block G. There many booths opened, including one from us, INFORMS. I got there during morning, about 11 A.M. Aside from that, an auto-show was held right next to the booths.

There were many things on sold. Shirts, books, pins, notepad and foods like rojak, banana split, chocolote covered marshmallows, and many more~

I bought these two: the pin and the notepad...
...and this. Another INFORMS shirt~
Tonight, there will be a rehearsal for the Battle of the Band versus Acoustica contestants. Again, Muay Thai's here and there. They just never stop coming.

muay thai

Another Muay Thai event. I think it's already three Muay Thai events already this semester. They really active this semester eh. Just like Zumba; they're getting more noticeable this semester.

Fight! Fight! Fight! >.<

After each fight, the fashion show took over. The fashion show was named Traditional Malay Couture. In every intervals, the fashion show contestants went to the Youth Floor and paraded themselves around the ring.

One of the fashion show contestant
Tomorrow will be the start of Burn It On! Fiesta. HTKP, Autoshow, Battle of the Band versus Acoustica and many more events. It will be another tiring days since the 19-20 Jan events. Hope I can survive through it. *yikes*

writing competition

I was the first person who took the participation form of the INFORMS Essay Writing Competition 2013. Partly because my friend already informed me about the event. Hehe. Well, this evening was the prize giving ceremony. They texted me to come to the Youth Floor to be ready. I'm like: I won? I freakin' won!? I opened my gmail account and finally knew that I got third in Non-Fiction category. I didn't won, but it's something. Hehe

AMAN PALESTIN got RM4500 from all the donations
My third prize! >.<

last day of IM Youth Festival

Today is the fourth and the last day of IM Youth Festival that was themed "Promoting Dynamic Society to Inspire Future Leader". There were booths about Rakan Muda, PPM, SESA, Friends of Library Association.

There are a lot of books! >.<
I want to take all of the ebooks from them. They got so many of them.

third day of IM Youth Festival

Today, Borneo Insight was the theme for IM Youth Carnival.

There were many exhibitions on Borneo cultural clothes, foods and many more. The highlight of the event was the Man vs Food challenge. Many people were swarming the Youth Floor to see the contestants eat.

second day of IM Youth Festival

Today, the theme for IM Youth Carnival was Young Carer Project. There were exhibitions of drugs and the recycle challenge was also held nearby.

I bought another two badges! *yeay*

Another unrelated thing with the title; today was also the continuation of the swimming test. The criteria for today test were Diving, Submerging, Freestyle and Breaststroke. Again, I made a fool out of myself when I tried to dive. Unfortunately, we couldn't continue with Breaststroke as it was raining. In other words, the test again will be continued next week.

first day of IM Youth Festival

Today, it had been a busy day at the Youth Floor of Samarahan Campus. Tourism Carnival here, AgroBank there and more importantly, IM Youth Carnival were everywhere.

The IM Youth Carnival was organized by the Part 3 students of Information Management for the subject of IMD202 Promotion of Information Products and Services. If they don’t do this event well enough, they might fail the subject. *yikes*

Well, since we only got one class today, me and my friends went to the Youth Floor exactly on time of the commencement of the IM Youth Carnival. Afterwards, staying true to the theme of “Active Teen @ U” that day, a zumba session was held there.

At last! I finally got my hand on the RM250 vouchers! After most an hour of waiting, I got my vouchers.

Yeay!

Busana Islam

Okay, there are two great things today: IMD155 class and tutorial is cancelled as well as the swimming class. Yeay!

Well, I attended Busana Islam in the Dewan Jubli. I went there alone. Hmm... The theme was Asli dan Moden & Kontemporari, roughly means Original, Modern & Contemporary.

Anyhow, it was divided into four categories:
Category A: 3-12 years old
Category B: 13-17 years old
Category C: UiTM students
Category D: UiTM staff

The category is the 3-12 years old. The crowd were entertained by the childrens' attitudes on the stage. They were so adorably shy >.<

The next category is 13-17 years old. It went quick though. Probably because there aren't many participants in the category.

Category C is for UiTM Students. I don't know anyone. Or perhaps I didn't exactly pay attention as I was writing this post. Hahaha.

The last category was for the UiTM Staff. Each one of the staff came and gone.

The winners were announced shortly after the fashion show ended. As everyone had received their prizes, we went back after getting a coupon to claim the stamp.

Another Tuesday

Today is Tuesday. In other words, this is the day where I only have 1 class in the morning and free time afterwards. After CTU151 class, I went to DM Mulu/Serapi for our group IMD157 discussion. The script already got printed, and I was assigned with a new character. I'm no longer working on the props - I'm now a bank guard. The bank guard who fell after getting hit by shuriken and died after being shot by the robbers. How pathetic my character is - which is good - since the only action that I need to do is fell to the floor. Haha

After that, I went to Dewan Jubli for the final stage of Kuiz Kemahiran Islam. There weren't so many people  inside. Anyhow, there are representatives from Sabah and Mukah there, which surprised me.

Tomorrow will be Wednesday, which means two (2) IMD155 presentations (index slip + part II national archives and director general) are waiting to be present. >.<

Program My Beautiful Malaysia

Today, me and my friends went to the My Beautiful Malaysia at Kuching Integrated Recreational Centre. After getting on the school bus – yes, you’re reading it right, a school bus – we went directly to the place. It took two buses for us UiTM students.

Again, the IM students decided to take on the elevator at the same tower. Because of that, we were left behind by the other group. *like I care*

My former classmate contacted me and told me she was there. We even managed to get some photos together! I missed her~ >.<

We ate a lot! There was also some kind of exhibitions of weapons – I touched of my first M16! We even got into the tanks! Hehehe

After getting our food coupon, we were relocated to Taman Budaya, just a walking distance from the place. There, we were given rakes to sweep off the dead leaves which were everywhere. Of course, as usual, there will be photo-taking sessions at – everywhere! Haha

As soon as we were “finished” with the sweeping and photo-taking, we went back straight to the school bus and gone back to UiTM. It was a great day.

ceramah isu-isu semasa dan keselamatan

Just another day as a student here in UiTM.

Me and my friends attended an event named "Sesi Ceramah Bersiri Khas Isu-Isu Semasa dan Keselamatan Negara. It was in the Dewan Jubli on 1.30 P.M. Due to low number of audience, we got front row seats. yeay..... =.="

We weren't allowed to take photos or videos, and I'm like: are you going to show us something top-secret-ish kind of things? o.O

Anyhow, the talk was, in fact, very informative. It shed some light about terrorism, extremists, BERSIH rallies, LGBT, and many more. Despite the ice cold temperature and I was being sleepy, I didn't fall asleep. Yeay! Although I yawned countless of time, barely trying to contain my sleepiness. hehe

I need to get as many stamps as possible. Next semester in the first intake for 2013 and 2012's SPM leavers will obviously populate most of the intake. In other words, many rooms will be filled by the new students, decreasing my chances to stay in the college.

I need to get great grades + many stamps = 2 persons room! >.<

Program Santai Yang Amat Berhormat Timbalan Perdana Menteri Bersama Belia

Yesterday. me and my three friends were attending "Program Santai Yang Amat Berhormat Timbalan Perdana Menteri Bersama Belia" situated at Kuching Integrated Recreational Centre, Dewan Suarah Kuching. Since university stamp were provided and the fact that I can skipped class, I really want to go!

We got ourselves assembled at Carpark A to get in the bus~ After everyone was there, we started our journey to Kuching >.<

By the time we got there, people were already swarming the tents. After the TPM came, we were able to walk around the place. I even met my former secondary school friend there. Yeay!

We even took a ride up here! I got scared by the height *sighs*

The Girls~ Sorry. This was taken from my handphone. Expect the low quality.
Another low quality picture. Haha
About 5.30, we got back to our bus and went back to UiTM.

a busy weekend

19-20 January 2013. Those dates were NOT the day I leisurely woke up late, playing Left4dead, or collecting my dirty clothes to be thrown into the washing machine. Those were the days where it was compulsory for me to attend 3 IM events!

19 January. Teambuilding was in the morning. As early as 7 A.M.! It was organised by Part 5 students. And it was for Part 1 and 2 students in DM1 Gading (the furthest abandoned hall in UiTM). I got there before 7 (I liked to arrive early) with my friends. When the Teambuilding started, we already got divided into groups. Overall, it was fun + awesome + great! It will be something that I'll always remember. Thanks Part 5 students who made this memorable for me! hehe

19 January. Hi-Tea was in the evening. I only went to my room to get showered after sweating a lot. After that, I quickly went back to DM1 Gading (again) as it was held in the same place. As an AJK, I helped the others to prepare for the event as best as I could. At the same time, I was also the elected AJK Persembahan (Performance Committee) whose in charge with the performances. Thank god, the performances went quite okay in my opinion (it could have gone worse, which it didn't). After it ended, I (with the others AJKs) stayed to clean up the mess in DM1 Gading.

20 January. IM Sports Day. I didn't have anything to do; I wasn't left in charge for any of the games. The games played during the Sports Day were Futsal, Volley Ball and the Sukan Rakyat: Hasen, Tengteng and Rondes. I tended to walk around the fields, just in case someone needed anything. I walked to the Futsal matches, Volleyball matches, and Sukan Rakyat matches when my friends were playing. After it ended, I finally went to my room. I fall asleep like a freakin' baby... Zzzzzz~~

finals result

Final. Examinations. Result. Is. Out.

I woke up rather early. After taking shower, I wandered around the house thinking: should I check it now? Urrgghh... I hate anticipation.

Well, I checked the Student Portal anyway.

I was surprisingly pleased with what I saw. It's enough for me. Although I had to admit that I was hoping to get more. It was close to get the Dean List. Oh well. No ANC for me *sigh*

While me and other people rejoicing the fact to be able to stay for another semester, they're some people who had to repeat or even got dismissed.

I guess that's it. Au revoir...

Oh, before I forget. I got 3.37~

And I still miss that person *sigh*
